ROBINの生地ラインナップの中でも、特に肌あたりの良さと強さを兼ね備えているのが「綿紡績ウール」です。
原料には、ニュージーランドのメリノ種から採れる16.5μmの極細ウールを使用。繊細でありながら、通常のウール紡績ではなくコットンの技術を応用した「綿紡績」によって、繊維同士がしっかりと撚り合い、なめらかな肌触りと高い耐久性を両立しました。
また、この製法により表面の毛羽立ちが抑えられ、自然な光沢感が生まれるのも特徴です。上品なツヤのある表情は、シンプルな一枚着としても存在感があり、日常の中で静かに際立つ一着になります。

It is made from ultra-fine 16.5μm merino wool, sourced from merino sheep raised in New Zealand—known for producing some of the world’s finest wool. By applying cotton spinning methods instead of the traditional wool spinning process, the fibers are tightly twisted together, resulting in a fabric that feels smooth against the skin while offering enhanced durability.
This spinning technique also helps minimize surface fuzz, giving the fabric a refined, natural luster. With its elegant sheen and substantial presence, it’s a material that quietly commands attention—even when worn on its own.

南アフリカの大地で育った羊の毛を原料に、1/48の細い単糸で編み上げたウール天竺。
この繊細な糸がもたらすのは、軽さとしなやかさ、そしてほのかな透け感。肌にすっとなじむやわらかさがありながらも、生地には防縮加工を施しているため、ご自宅でのケアも安心です。
南アフリカ産のウールは、温暖な気候の中で育つことにより繊維に自然な伸縮性があり、着心地にもどこか余白が生まれます。ふだんの装いに静かに寄り添う、ROBINらしい日常のウールです。

やわらかさと弾力をあわせ持つ、もっちりとしたウォッシャブルウール
オーストラリア産のウール原毛を使用し、日本有数のウール産地・尾州で編み立てと染色を行ったジャージー素材です。
採用しているのは、平均繊維径が約18.5ミクロンの“Super 100’s”クラスの原毛。もともとは高級スーツ地に用いられるほどの繊細で均質なこのウールを、あえてジャージーに仕立てることで、しっとりとした肌触りと、モチっとした弾力のある風合いが生まれました。
適度な厚みがあり透けにくいため、トップスとしてはもちろん、スカートやネックゲーターなど、立体感や暖かさを求めるアイテムに使用しています。
ウール本来の吸湿性と放湿性を活かしながら、化繊にはない自然なぬくもりと肌なじみをそなえた素材です。
Cloud Wool Jersey is made from high-quality wool sourced from Australia and knitted and dyed in Bishu—one of Japan’s most renowned wool-producing regions.
The wool fibers used fall into the Super 100’s category, meaning they are exceptionally fine and uniform, with an average diameter of around 18.5 microns. Originally developed for premium suiting, this level of wool brings a refined softness and natural sheen, which, when knitted into jersey, transforms into a fabric that feels both plush and gently elastic.
With enough density to prevent transparency, the fabric is well-suited not only for tops but also for more structured items like skirts or neck gaiters that benefit from both warmth and shape.
It retains wool’s natural moisture-regulating properties while offering a sense of quiet comfort—an everyday essential that embodies the tactile richness at the heart of ROBIN.
